It’s been a busy year at Light Link with so much happening, from regional expansion and team growth to iconic projects that have been talked about worldwide. As we head towards the end of 2022, here’s a look at some of our biggest achievements over the last 12 months.

Keeping staff and customers safe is the number one priority for businesses right now, and people are searching for effective ways to ensure wellbeing. Since COVID-19, there have been fundamental changes to office design that impact how we work and interact in the workplace, in particular for collaboration areas and communal spaces due to social distancing guidelines.

With so much pressure on budgets, there is an expectation that offering the biggest discounts will win the contracts. However, several factors mean there is more to consider than just price. Even before the pandemic, pricing was a big issue, and some suppliers reduced their margins as low as possible to stave off the competition.

We work closely with PMs on all types of jobs, and there are certain challenges that keep cropping up when it comes to lighting. Of course, there’s bound to be obstacles in building design, but there are still things you can do to reduce any problems and make the lighting integration as seamless as possible.
